Jewel has three comfortable, thatched and wood log, self catering chalets and a retreat Centre set in tranquil, rustic surroundings alongside a large dam.

The chalets provide an excellent peaceful getaway for the entire family – small pets are welcome. Chill out on the patio overlooking the dam and watch the fish jumping and the swimming water birds – unwind and relax in the peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Each of the 3 thatched wood log chalets is fully equipped for self catering and consists of a double bedroom en-suite, an open plan lounge/dining room/kitchenette, a 2nd bathroom and a 3 bed loft (linen and towels are included).

The 3 bed open plan loft is sectioned off into - 2 beds and a single.

Self catering equipment in the kitchenettes consist of - all basic cutlery, crockery etc. including microwave, small 4 plate stove, refrigerator, kettle and toaster.


Rates are R220 Per Person Per Night Sharing (A small extra charge for one night bookings)

Each chalet has a braai facility and outdoor furniture – wood can be purchased on the property.

All chalets are equipped with a basic DSTV package - visitors may bring their own decoders and smartcards if they so wish.

Each unit has ceiling fans for summer and oil heaters for the chilly winters.
